How Do You Use Young Living Diffusers?

Remove the covers (outer and inner).
Unplug the diffuser before filling up the water.
Add room-temperature water, and do not exceed the water fill line.
Add the essential oils depends on the blends of the day. Check out my diffuser blend for some options.
Put back both covers. Make sure it fits perfectly to the half-circle of the side of the bottom of the diffuser.
Plug the power adapter into a power outlet.
Press the button to turn it on.
Mulitple settings (1 push – High mode, 2 push – Low mode, 3 push – Intermittent mode).
Two settings (1 push – High mode, 2 push – Intermittent mode).
Press the light button to rotate through the light modes and colors.

How To Clean Young Living Diffuser?

Remember to turn off and unplug the diffuser before cleaning.
Clean the ultrasonic plate and lid after each use for the highest performance.
Gently wipe the ultrasonic plate with a wet tissue, best if you use Thieves Spray.
Gently wipe the lid as well using the same method.
Alternatively, you can use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol or a mild soap with water only.
Check the bottom of the diffuser too. The fan intake should be free of debris.
Just blow the fan intake opening or wiping with a clean, dry cloth to remove debris.
Always clean your diffuser that is not in use and store it properly.

Difference between diffuser and humidifier

So is a diffuser the same as a humidifier? The answer is simply no since they have a different purpose. Firstly we have to understand how each of their functions.

How do diffusers work?

The word diffuser itself gives a clue on what it does. If fusion gives the idea such as joining or combining, therefore diffusion is the opposite of that. Given that essential oil is highly concentrated, the only way to spread it throughout the room is by diffusing it. The diffusion of essential oil is part of aromatherapy.

For this reason, ultrasonic oil diffusers will have a small plate at the base of the container that vibrates at supersonic speed. As a result, this will separate the concentrated oil molecules for them to be blown by the device’s built-in fan.

How do humidifiers works?
