Young Living Must Haves

Young Living Must Haves

Do you want to know what are the Young Living must haves? or what are the best essential oils to diffuse? You might have come across this once in a while within your social circles. Essential oils are any of a class of volatile oils that give plants their characteristic odors. Also, they are being used in perfumes, flavorings, and aromatherapy. Essential oils are concentrated extracts obtained through steam distillation, resin tapping, or cold pressing. For more information, please refer to this post.

It is aromatic and beneficial if you use them the right way. Furthermore, scientists believe that essential oils work by sending messages to parts of the human brain that affect emotion and mood. As a result,  the aroma will help you to relax.

Reputable Essential Oil Companies

When you are new to the oiling world, it might be overwhelming to decide which brand to go for. The best way to know if essential oils are for you is to do your own research. After that, dive right into oiling by getting a few basic essential oils. These essential oils can be used for yourself, your family, and your home, as they will act as your “first-aid” kit.

As an avid user of Young Living Essential Oils, I will be mentioning their product. The company guarantees high-quality essential oils with a high standard, Seed to Seal.

Young Living Premium Starter Pack consists of 11 essential oils, a diffuser of your choice, 2 packs of Ningxia samples, 1 bottle of Thieves waterless hand sanitizer, and a couple of AromaGlide roller fitment. The starter pack includes up to 13 oils for Malaysia and Singapore markets, with another 2 free essential oils.

Let’s start our journey by getting to know the “first-aid” kit essential oils that are part and parcel of an oiler’s household.

Spearmint Essential Oil

The scents of Spearmint are similar to double-mint gum. Above all, it is rich in antioxidants distilled from leaves with a minty and fruity scent which is softer than peppermint.

As a result, it promotes a feeling of calm and refreshing, especially in the morning. The Spearmint essential oil is also an appetite booster.

Spearmint Essential Oil Blends

Lemon essential oil is a good pair and besides, it is part of the Premium Starter Pack and as a result, you will be able to blend your oils on your first day.

Purification Essential Oil Blend

It is as the name suggests. Purification essential oil scents are very clean and refreshing.

It consists of 6 types of oils; Citronella, Lavandin, Lemongrass, Myrtle, Rosemary, and Tea Tree. These ingredients help clean and purify the air.

Only for a couple of drops, Purification essential oil is the quickest way to freshen the air at home and clears unwanted odors. It freshens musty and stale areas with its lively scents.

As it is a blended oil, you can just use it on its own by diffusing it.

Lemon Essential Oil

Did you know that 75 lemons are required to make a bottle of 15ml essential oil? The scent is very lemony as if it is freshly picked from your backyard.

I always keep a bottle of Lemon essential oils at home for its clean, energizing, and invigorating aroma. You can either diffuse it to create a focused environment or add it to your daily water intake. Just a couple of drops are enough as it is a concentrate.

Lemon Essential Oil Blends

You can start to blend it with Spearmint, Thieves, R.C., or Peppermint that comes in the Premium Starter Pack.

RC Essential Oil

This is a special blend that consists of Cypress, Spruce, and 3 varieties of Eucalyptus that are very comforting when applied. The scents are very earthy and naturally comforting.

It promotes restful sleep, a relaxing aroma, respiratory support, and a refreshing experience when applied to the chest. Before any topical application, R.C. essential oil needs to be diluted with a V-6 vegetable oil complex. You can read more about RC Essential oil in detail here.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender or scientifically called “Lavandula Angustifolia” is one of the most versatile essential oils in the world. The scent is a wonderful blend of fresh, floral, clean, and calm in one tiny bottle.

The lavender essential oil supports deep sleep, feelings of calm, mind, and body. It is so versatile that it can also be used to soothe irritated skin from insect bites, minor burns, and skin irritations.

Lavender Essential Oil Blends

Lavender essential oil compliments a lot of other essential oils such as Thieves, R.C., and Peppermint. But the best combination for deep sleep is to blend it with Bergamot and Ylang Ylang. These two are not included in the Premium Starter Pack and will need to be purchased separately.

Thieves Essential Oil

Thieves essential oil is by far the best and absolute favorite of mine (and family and every oiler I know!). It contains very powerful essential oil blends that provide protection and support for your body.

It provides immune support if applied topically at your chest, spine, wrist, and bottom of your feet daily. Diffusing Thieves essential oil is also a good way to neutralize and purifies the air from strong odors.

Thieves Essential Oil Blends

The perfect combination that I love is either Lemon, Grapefruit, or Orange. Any citrusy oils will be a good compliment to Thieves.

Copaiba Essential Oil

“Co-Pie-E-Buh”  came from gum resin tapped by the Brazilian Copaifera Reticulata tree.

The scent is gentle and has a woody aroma, which helps to create a relaxed atmosphere when diffused or topically used.

Copaiba Essential Oil Blends

Lavender essential oil is a good combination to create a calm environment for sleeping. Other essential oils such as Lemon, Orange, Cedarwood, and Clary Sage also blend well with Copaiba.

Frankincense Essential Oil

Frankincense which is scientifically known as “Boswellia Carterii” is a herbal extract taken from the Boswellia Serrata tree. I find it difficult to pronounce “Frang-Kuhn-Sens” and just call it Frank for short instead.

Frankincense has a sweet honey-like and woody scent. The earthy and uplifting aroma is perfect for grounding and spiritual connectedness.

By diffusing frankincense essential oil, it enables you to create a relaxed and tranquil environment. The feeling of safe and comforting scents is suitable during prayers and meditation.

Frankincense also relieves anxiety, mood swings, and depression, and is considered a highly rated essential oil.

Digize Essential Oil

Digize(pronounced ‘dee-j-eye-z’) is an essential oil that has a spicy and exotic blend that came from the combination of Tarragon, Ginger, Peppermint, Juniper, Lemongrass, Anise, Fennel, and Patchouli oils.

This particular essential oil has proven itself as the best indigestion support. It provides a comforting aromatic experience when topically applied.
Can I apply Digize essential oil on my belly?

When you are having symptoms such as diarrhea, bloating, gas or constipation, you can massage Digize essential oil directly to your stomach. You can read more about Digize essential oil here.

Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint essential oil is one of my favorite oils that I use on a daily basis. The scent is very refreshing, cool, minty with an herbal aroma. Scientifically peppermint is called “Mentha Piperita”, which is commonly used as herbal supplements and food flavorings.

Young Living Peppermint essential oil has proven to help reduce headaches and provide nasal support. When diffusing the oil, it helps in creating a focused and stimulating environment for daily tasks.

Peppermint Essential Oil Blends

Peppermint is versatile and suitable to blend with Tangerine, Lemon, and Ginger to name a few. My favorite blend every morning is a few drops of Peppermint, Lemon, and Tangerine. It helps to boost my mood and focus on my work.

Panaway Essential Oil

Panaway is a “match made in heaven” combination of 4 powerful oils; Wintergreen, Helichrysum, Clove, and Peppermint essential oils. It is the perfect companion for sore muscles, a must-have for a sportsperson.

You can use it topically on the skin for post-exercise massage, to give yourself a cool stimulating sensation. Upon application on the skin, it will give a refreshing, invigorating aroma and a cooling sensation.
