What Is the Difference Between Peace and Calming and Peace and Calming 2?
The Ingredients
Peace and calming have only five ingredients as compared to Peace and Calming 2. Four of the ingredients are the same; Tangerine, Orange, Ylang Ylang, and Patchouli. The fifth ingredient is Blue Tansy and it makes this oil blend differently.
Blue tansy has sweet and floral scents, which creates an uplifting environment when diffused on its own. It is a rare botanical flower that is commonly used in high-end luxury beauty products.
The Scents
The scents are slightly different as there are only four ingredients that both oils have. But each of the essential oil has a special place in my home.
The Price
Another obvious difference between the two essential oil is the price of each bottle. Peace and Calming 2 is selling at almost half the price of Peace and Calming essential oil. The reason is that Blue Tansy essential oil is one of the expensive oil, that is why Peace and Calming are more pricey.
Roll-On Option
There is a Peace and Calming roll-on version which is prediluted for topical usage. It is an easy-to-use roll-on that can be included in your children’s bedtime routine. Just roll it to your wrists and the back of your ear that sets you up for sweet dreams.

DIY Geode Bath Bomb
As a bonus, I will share one of the prettiest recipes I stumble upon on the internet for my readers! This DIY Geode Bath Bomb recipe will make about 3-4 bath bombs depending on the size of your mold.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Epsom Salt
- ½ cup of baking soda
- ¼ cup of citric acid
- ¼ cup of corn starch
- ½ tablespoon of water
- ¾ cup of coconut oil
- Natural soap dye
- 4 drops of Peace and Calming
- 3 drops of Kunzea
- 2 drops of Idaho Balsam Fir
- Round Plastic bath bomb molds
Instructions:
- Firstly, combine ¼ of Epsom salt, citric acid, corn starch, and baking soda in a glass bowl. Swirl it slowly with a wooden spoon until it mixes completely.
- Secondly add the melted coconut oil, essential oils, and water into the mixture. Using the wooden spoon you need to mix it thoroughly.
- Scoop the mixture into your mold, creating a thin layer across half the sphere. Let it dry for an hour.
- Next, you need to separate the remaining Epsom salt into three different bowls. Then using the soap dye, dye each of the bowls with light, medium, and darker shades.
- Start with the lightest shade, scoop some of the Epsom salt into the middle of the bath bomb mold. Drizzle some melted coconut oil on the salt and spread it across to create a thin layer.
- Repeat the steps with the medium shade and finish it off with the darkest shade. Remember to leave some space in the middle to make it a more curved shape and look like a real geode.
- Lastly, place the bath bomb mold in the fridge for 4 hours to set. Once it is set, just pop it out of the mold and drop it in your bathtub. It is time for you to enjoy your little DIY projects and soak all the goodness.
- This is also a great idea for DIY gifts. Just put it in a mason jar with tight lids, tie a ribbon around it and add a cute tag. Your family and friends will be amazed by your creativity.
- Don’t forget to always keep your bath bombs cool, especially if you live on the warmer side of the world. The coconut oil will cause it to separate and break the bath bomb apart.
- The coconut oil will also leave your bathtub feeling a little bit slippery. So you need to be careful when stepping out of your bath!
Therefore for those who are looking for ready-made essential oil blend for grounding and calming, you now have the option to choose between Peace and Calming and Peace and Calming 2.
