Facts About Deep Sleep Essential Oil Diffuser Recipe

1. Lavenderlavender

Lavender is my go-to essential oil for everything, as it is one of the most versatile oils in the world. The scent is a beautiful blend of fresh, floral, clean, and calm in one tiny bottle.

The lavender essential oil supports deep sleep, feelings of calm, mind, and body. It is so versatile that it can also be used to soothe irritated skin from insect bites, minor burns, and skin irritations.

All you need is 4-6 drops in your diffuser, and it will give a calming effect to you. You can also try my Good Night diffuser blend. The other essential oils for the diffuser blend came with the Young Living Premium Starter Pack

Another diffuser blend that I have been using for a while is to blend Lavender with Bergamot and Ylang Ylang. Bergamot essential oil has a calming aroma with a floral hint which helps in boosting positivity in your home.

Ylang Ylang essential oil came from star-shaped flowers which have a pleasant floral aroma. The combination of the three essential oils creates a calming environment. It helps your body and mind to relax and unwind for the day.

2. Cedarwood

Cedarwood essential oilcedarwood has a fresh, subtle woodsy, and warm aroma. By diffusing this oil, it creates a calming and comforting environment to support a relaxing night routine.

The aroma could be a little bit too strong for some people. If you are like me, the best way to incorporate this into my nighttime routine is by diffusing it. When diffused, the woodsy aroma will help you to wind down for the day.

You can also try 1-2 drops on your pillow if you prefer not to diffuse it. Another way is to massage it directly to the bottom of your feet and pull your fuzzy socks over them.

Lavender and Frankincense are two of many essential oils that complement well with Cedarwood. If you are keen on quality sleep, then this is the must-have essential oil on your nightstand.

You can get these oils from Amazon too!

3. Frankincensefrankincense

Frankincense has a sweet honey-like, and woody scent. The earthy and uplifting aroma is perfect for grounding and spiritual connectedness.

By diffusing frankincense essential oil, it enables you to create a relaxed and tranquil environment. Frankincense also relieves anxiety, mood swings, and depression and is considered a highly rated essential oil.

You can diffuse it on its own or blend it with Cedarwood and Valor. Valor is a unique blend of Black Spruce, Blue Tansy, Camphor Wood, Geranium, and Frankincense. It has a woodsy and grounding aroma which helps to create a calm environment.

4. Copaiba

Copaiba essential oil is a very under-rated oil, part of the Young Living Premium Starter Pack. My first impression of this oil is there is nothing special about it, and I did not open my bottle until I stumble upon this article in Young Living Blog

It has a very subtle, woodsy aroma but a little bit lighter than Cedarwood scents. The best way to use Copaiba is by diffusing it with Lavender for a warm and inviting aroma.

Another diffuser blend for sleep that I love is mixing Copaiba, Cedarwood, and Lime essential oil, it smells like a rainforest and transports me to another dimension.

Or, if you are more adventurous and love DIY, you could make your foot soak salts. All you need is Epsom salt, Copaiba, and Bergamot essential oils; add it to warm water, and enjoy it! Full recipes are here.

5. Vetiver

I noticed that most essential oils created for sleep have a woodsy aroma. Vetiver is another essential oil to add to that list. The vetiver is very powerful and has a thicker woodsy, smoky, and slightly sweet aroma.
